Service Status - Service is Open:
Periodically the service will be closed for required updates and maintenance.
Regularly Scheduled Service Updates:
The AAPAR service will be closed for service updates from 8:00am to 5:00pm on the following days:
- Wednesday, July 29.
- Wednesday, August 12.
- Wednesday, August 19.

Set Configurations
Use with Caution! These tools set global configurations.
Improperly modifying any of the settings available through these tools could adversely affect the operation.
Default Variables
Enter variable ID and Fields (pipe Delim)
Base Format: variableID | PipeDelimVariableValues | (last item mode)
Edit with caution these variables effect operation of application!
- Each field represents a pipe delimited section of the variable.
- Special characters and exceptions are not filtered.
- '^, and returns' are restricted and can not be used in editing data.
- Replace '#' characters with [hash] and ' ' with [dblSp] or variable will break

Add Special User
This tool adds a user to the UsersInclude data tables.
Once added a user is available to the modify editor tools in the user interface.
Only OEE staff members should be given a "Admin" or "Sysop" role.
OEE Student staff can be given "Admin" role but should never be given the "Sysop" role.

File Management Tools
This tool is read only and does not effect operation of the service.
Use this tool to export a specific file from the service.

Program Archiving Tool
This tool is effects data based on the program status.
Some program data will be removed from active active program data as a result of running this tool.
Running Archives:
When you run the archives tool a record of the current state of reports is made and saved to the /data/archives directory in a folder titled with the academic year and includes:
- A manifest of all the archived reports.
- A copy of the the stats by unit.
- copy of the program data files.
- a folder for each program title with the SED number of the program which includes the following:
- A copy of the existing report including the current department details (stats, mission, goals, and editors).
- A copy of each PDF linked to the report

Add New Program
This tool modifies active data.
This tool creates a new program and all supporting data required. It runs in conjunction with the 'AAPAR New Program Submission' PDF form. New program forms are submitted and then checked for accuracy. Data exported from the new program form is imported and processed to create the new program.

Change Progress
This tool is read only and does not effect operation of the service.
These files are reports of active, completed (yearly cycle) or archived changes to the AAPAR web app.
- Active: indicates current cycle items identified for or being implemented on development.
- Completed: indicates current cycle items that have been implemented on production.
- Archived: indicates items previously implemented on production.

Modify User Tools
These tools change user data in active data tables.
Add Editor To Service:
Faculty and Staff are now able to register for AAPAR by selecting the "Login" tab.
Once registered they will be redirected to their user dashboard. At that point they will be available in the interface.
If a user is not able to register through the UI they may be specially added through a Sysop process.
Modify Editor in Service:
Modifies the current settings for a user in the UsersInclude data table.

User Report Tools
This tool is read only and does not effect operation of the service.
Use these tools to get user assignments in the service: email listing of users by editor role; assignment report lists each assignment a user has in the service.
Email listing is deduped within each editing role (users listed in more than one position for the same editing role will only get one email per editing role).
Select the option to 'Dedupe users in order of editor assignment' to dedupe accross all editor roles from Dean down to PC

Program Locks Report.
This report lists active locks by time period. Program reports can only have one active lock state.

Current Locks: reports currently locked for editing.
Locked Today: reports locked in the last 24 hours
Complete Locks: locks set on all reports.
Export as Text File
Program Edits Report.
This report lists the last edit for a program by time period.
Choose Report Option
Current Locks: reports currently locked for editing.
Locked Today: reports locked in the last 24 hours

This report lists programs reports that have empty or duplicate outcomes.
